Monica Sigala, Principal

Welcome to Fremont! This is my 26th year as an educator in Fowler Unified and my 10th year at Fremont! I began my teaching journey in 1997 as a third grade teacher in Sanger Unified. I have taught in the credential program at Fresno State, as well as English at Willow International. I hold a multiple subjects credential, reading specialist credential, and an administrative credential. I received both my BA and graduate degree at Fresno State. During my college years, I was an AmeriCorps member and tutored students in English. My experiences have created my pathway to Fremont the last nine years. Before Fremont, I was an ELA teacher at Sutter Middle School. Fowler is my home away from home. I grew up in a small town just east of Fowler (Home of the Apaches) and I felt a natural pull to this community. My own children have attended Fowler Schools and my daughter, Charlotte will start her Freshman year at FHS as a Redcat. I believe in the abilities of all of our students and support their growth socially and academically. I support our teachers in helping our students reach their academic goals and celebrate the progress they make each day in their learning. Our Fremont Eagles are the heartbeat of our school and it is my privilege to serve them.

It’s time to rise up Fremont Eagles for a soarin’ 2023-2024 school year!

Rise Up Eagles!
